  The Square Spa is designed to minimize discomfort. When necessary, topical or rinse-type anesthetics may be used without injections, and AIRFLOW® is used for biofilm removal to reduce the discomfort and sensitivity that some patients experience with conventional instrumentation.
  Individual sensitivity varies, but the program is designed to provide thorough periodontal care in a more comfortable setting.

  The program is generally completed over two visits, with each appointment taking approximately 60 minutes. The two visits are typically scheduled 3–4 days apart, allowing the program to be completed within about one week.

  After completing the program, we assess your overall oral condition and provide personalized Tooth Brushing Instruction (TBI). The recommended maintenance interval is then determined according to factors such as gum health, plaque accumulation, staining, implants, and restorations.
  For many patients, professional maintenance may be recommended at intervals of approximately 3–12 months.
