  • Q. How much does Re-Orthodontic Treatment cost?

      The cost of orthodontic retreatment varies depending on the current alignment of the teeth, oral condition, facial and jaw structure, treatment complexity, and the type of treatment required.
      If significant malocclusion remains from the first treatment or the original treatment plan needs to be reconsidered, comprehensive orthodontic treatment may be necessary. On the other hand, if the original result was stable and only minor relapse has occurred, limited orthodontic treatment may be enough to realign the teeth in a shorter period of time.

  • Q. Is Re-Orthodontic Treatment more difficult than the first treatment?

    • A .

      It can be. If the original diagnosis was incomplete, the first treatment did not achieve a stable result, or significant relapse has occurred, retreatment may be more complex than the initial treatment. For this reason, a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment by an orthodontic specialist are particularly important.
      However, when only minor relapse has occurred and the overall bite remains stable, retreatment may sometimes be completed relatively quickly.
