What Is Dental Crowding?
Dental crowding occurs when there is not enough space in the dental arch for the teeth to align properly, causing two or more teeth to overlap or become displaced. It may also develop when primary teeth are lost too early and adequate space for the permanent teeth is not maintained. The canines, which are among the last front teeth to erupt, are particularly prone to crowding.
